At Star-X, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service to each of our clients. To ensure a positive experience, we have established the following policies:

**Appointments:**

- We are available for services exclusively through scheduled appointments.

- It is highly recommended to book your appointment in advance to ensure your desired service and time are available.

- If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. You can communicate through our website, text message, or email. We will do our best to accommodate you but may have to reschedule or adjust your service time accordingly.

- If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee, typically equivalent to the amount paid as a deposit.

**Cancellation and No-shows:**

- To avoid forfeiting your deposit, you must cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

- If you fail to show up for the appointment without prior notice, you will be marked as a no-show and will lose your deposit.

- We reserve the right to refuse future appointments to clients who repeatedly cancel or fail to show up for appointments without adequate notice.

**Late Arrivals:**

- We will hold a reservation for a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment time before considering it a no-show.

- If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but we may need to modify the service to fit within the remaining time.

- We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will do our best to be flexible and understanding. However, repeated late arrivals may result in you having to prepay for the service in full to incentivize you to arrive on time.

**Inappropriate Behavior:**

- Any inappropriate behavior or language towards our staff or clients, including but not limited to sexual comments, harassment, discrimination, or violence, will not be tolerated.

- Any client who engages in inappropriate behavior may be asked to leave the studio immediately, and we reserve the right to refuse future service.

- If any of our staff or clients experience any form of inappropriate behavior, please inform us immediately so that we can take appropriate action.

**Professional Boundaries:**

- Our staff is committed to maintaining professional boundaries with clients at all times.

- We will not engage in any personal or romantic relationships with clients.

- We will not disclose any personal information shared by clients during the course of the service, except as required by law or with the client's explicit consent.

- Any breach of professional boundaries by our staff may result in disciplinary action.

**Equity:**

- At Star-X, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and valued.

- We do not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or disability.

- We will take appropriate action to address any instances of discrimination or harassment, including but not limited to termination of service and/or legal action if necessary.

**Prices:**

- Our prices for services will be clearly displayed on our website and will be non-negotiable.

- We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but any changes will be communicated to our clients in advance.

- We will honor any promotions or discounts that we advertise, as long as they are used within the specified time frame and meet any other requirements.

**Services:**

- We are committed to providing our clients with professional, safe, and effective services.

- All services will be performed by trained and certified professionals.

- We will use high-quality products and equipment to ensure the best possible results.

**Accepted Forms of Payment:**

- We accept payment by credit card through our secure online platform, as well as in-person payments using credit/debit cards, Zelle, Apple Cash, or cash.

- We do not accept personal checks.

**Payment Terms:**

- Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.

- For online payments, payment will be processed at the time of booking.

- For in-person payments, payment will be processed at the end of the service.

- If payment is not received at the time of service, we reserve the right to refuse future service.

**Refunds:**

- We do not offer refunds for services that have already been performed.

- If you are unsatisfied with your service, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can address your concerns.

**Privacy and Security:**

- We take our clients' privacy and security very seriously.

- All payment information submitted through our online platform is encrypted and stored securely.

- We do not share or sell our clients' payment information to third parties.

**Gratuities:**

- Gratuities are not included in the price of our services, but they are greatly appreciated.

- If you wish to leave a gratuity, you may do so in cash, credit/debit card, or through our online payment platform at the time of service.

- The amount of the gratuity is entirely up to you and should reflect your level of satisfaction with the service provided.

- If you are unsure about how much to tip, a general rule of thumb is to tip 15-20% of the total cost of the service.

**Lost Items:**

- If you believe you have lost an item during your visit to our studio, please notify our staff as soon as possible.

- We will do our best to locate the lost item, but we cannot guarantee its safe return.

- Star-X is not responsible for lost items.

**Stolen Items:**

- If you believe that an item has been stolen during your visit to our studio, please notify our staff and the local authorities immediately.

- We will cooperate fully with any investigation into the theft.

- Star-X is not responsible for stolen items.

**Liability:**

- Star-X is not liable for any lost or stolen items.

- We encourage our clients to keep their personal belongings with them at all times and to be mindful of their surroundings.

- Star-X is not liable for any illness or injury that may occur as a result of client negligence or failure to follow our sanitation policies.

- We encourage our clients to notify our staff immediately if they notice any issues with sanitation during their visit.

**Photography:**

- The use of photography or videography is strictly prohibited during any of our services, including waxing, facials, and other treatments.

- Photography is only allowed with permission from our staff.

- We respect the privacy of our clients and ask that you do not take photos of other clients or our staff without their explicit consent.

**Cell Phones and Other Electronics:**

- We kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone or other electronic devices before entering our studio.

- If you must take a call or use your device during your visit, we ask that you do so quietly and discreetly so as not to disturb other clients.

- The use of laptops, tablets, or any other electronic devices is not allowed during any of our services.

- Star-X is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged electronic devices brought into the studio.

**Equipment Sanitation:**

- All equipment used during our services is sanitized before and after each client using hospital-grade disinfectants.

- Our linens and towels are washed and sanitized after each use.

- Our treatment rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between clients.

**Hand Sanitation:**

- We require all clients and staff to wash or sanitize their hands before and after each service.

- Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio for client use.

**Facility Sanitation:**

- Our studio is cleaned and sanitized daily, including our waiting area, reception desk, and restroom facilities.

- We use hospital-grade disinfectants and follow strict cleaning protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
